Lean-Agile CoP - "Multiple Agile Manifestos! What for?"

 (Insider)

Lean-Agile CoP

Our Lean-Agile Community of Practice (CoP) provides a platform for you to network, share experiences and to deepen your knowledge of agile and lean practices in project management. Whether you are already using agile or lean methods in your projects, planning to introduce them, or aspiring to PMI-ACP® certification, this is the place for you.

We want the CoP to offer inspiration and deliver concrete results — real added value for PMI and its members. To this end, we have launched two new formats:

Lean-Agile CoP: Inspire
This format provides impulses, new perspectives, and food for thought on all aspects of agility through best practices, short presentations, and unique viewpoints. "Inspire" stands for inspiration to think and develop further.

Lean-Agile CoP Insider
The Lean-Agile CoP Insider format is designed to provide insider knowledge and insights on all aspects of agility.

Here, we collaborate to develop practical methods, approaches, and solutions for various industries and challenges. "Insider" stands for real added value through collaboration.

On July 24, 2025, there will be an inspire meeting.

With the publication of the Agile Manifesto for Software Development in 2001, agility began its triumphant advance in business and society. Initially, this was almost exclusively in software development organizations. But over time, agile values and principles spread, so that in the past 15 years, many companies and organizations have embarked on agile transformations – with varying degrees of success, as is to be expected given the large number involved. At the same time, the term agility has become part of our everyday language. From personal self-optimization to the highest echelons of business and politics, the term has become an integral part of our vocabulary, both as a noun and an adjective.

In this PMI-GC Lean & Agile CoP Inspiration Session, Kai-Uwe Rupp will share some of his thoughts and questions about agile manifestos and agility in general in a lightning talk entitled "Multiple Agile Manifestos! What for?"

Following the lightning talk, we will gather our thoughts in a moderated process and perhaps look for answers to some of our questions.

We look forward to seeing you!
