Local Group Berlin
Our Offer
We are on the spot for the capital region. With more than ten events a year, we bring together project managers and project management enthusiasts. We make sure that there is a good mix of lectures, professional circles and regulars' tables. Many events are held in English. As a local group, we are close to Berlin-based companies and the government. With local partners, we offer special added value to project managers in Berlin and the surrounding area.

Local Group Leipzig
Our Offer
The Local Group Leipzig was founded in September 2017. It sees itself as a local nucleus of project management in Leipzig and the surrounding area and will provide space for all facets of project management and tangential topics. In times when there are more rather than fewer projects, the exchange of experiences and the knowledge of good methods is exciting. And if this is paired with space to get to know each other and networking - then that is the "Local Group Leipzig".

Local Group NorthEast
Our Offer
The Local Group NorthEast addresses our members in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and will promote the exchange about project management in the regions. Events of different kinds are in the center of attention. The Local Group NordOst is the "youngest" Local Group in the region.

Region West
Local Group Ruhrgebiet
Our Offer
The Local Group Ruhr Area was founded in 2014 as part of the PMI Cologne Chapter by Matthias Gärtner (Ruhr PM) and Dr. Eckhard Hauenherm (PMI Germany Chapter). It currently meets monthly, mainly on site in Essen and the sourrounding area - somtimes also online.
The meetings usually take place on the seccond Tuesday of the month, alternating between a regulars' table and a presentation on a specific topic. The topic is introduced with a short keynote speech by a member of the Local Group or an invited speaker. This is usually followed by an intensive discussion of the topic from the perspectives of the various participants and industries. The meetings are open to all interested participants, whether PMI members or not.

Local Group Rheinland
Our Offer
"Et bliev nix wie et wor." Everything is changing, requirements and conditions are constantly evolving, methods and tools are being rapidly developed: globally networked and committed locally, the Local Group Rheinland organizes events on current topics, forward-looking trends and fresh perspectives in project management and cultivates cross-industry exchange of experience and knowledge.
At the Rhineland regulars' table, project management experts and interested parties as well as students preparing for their certification meet regularly in a relaxed atmosphere to connect, network and engage in fruitful discussions.
Our Local Group Rhineland events have a larger scope and are communicated seperately vie the PMI GC website and newsletter.
Chapter members and non-members, with or without a certificate, are cordially invited to our events. Registration takes place via the PMI GC event calendar.

Local Group Weser-Ems
Our Offer
The Local Group Weser-Ems, founded in 2010, offers a regional forum for project managers and interested parties from the Weser-Ems area, as well as from the Oldenburg/Bremen region.
The goals are the exchange of experience on topics related to the competence field of project management and networking.
Three to four evening events take place per year on current topics around the "PMI Talent Triangle" (Technical Project Management, Leadership, Strategic and Business Management).
The topic of each evening is opened with a keynote speech by a member of the Local Group or an invited volunteer speaker, followed or accompanied by intensive discussion with the participants.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for networking and talking shop at the get-together.

Local Group Darmstadt
Our Offer
As one of currently four local groups in the Central Region of the PMI Germany Chapter, we have been active in the science city of Darmstadt since March 2020 (abbreviation LG DA). Our focus is on evenings, virtual, English-language virtual presentations (events) by international speakers (1-2 per month) and face2face roundtables (monthly), to which all those interested in PM are cordially invited.
While the events are free and open to non-members, attendees can claim PDUs at PMI. Before booking an event, you must register with your email address. You can then book as many events as you like and download the presentations.

Local Group Hamburg
Our Offer
As the Local Group Hamburg, we support the local project management community beyond the borders of Hamburg. We offer regulars' tables, lectures and workshops in person and online. In a cozy atmosphere, you can exchange ideas with others on a prepared topic. Our events take place approximately every two months, in the evenings during the week.

Our Offer
With the Project Manager Meeting Hannover (Projektletertreffen Hannover), we offer lectures or impulse workshops on the topic of project leadership and project management.
We enable our participants to think outside the box and offer an exchange of experiences and networking among colleagues.
Our online format #ProjektleitertreffenHannover #MeetAtHome takes place 1-2 times a month with changing topics about MS teams.
Once a quarter we meet - if possible - on site at IT-P in Hanover.

Our Angebot
As Local Group Braunschweig/ Wolfsburg we support the local project management community.
We - the active ones - are a (small) group of active project managers who want to promote a better networking of those working and/or interested in project management in our region as volunteers. This is currently done by organizing and moderating a regular project management regulars' table at the Braunschweig and Wolfsburg locations.
Furthermore, we participate in regional and comprehensive activities of the PMI Germany Chapter e.V. and carry these into our local area of operation.
