Would you like to pass on your project management knowledge to newbies in the field? Would you like to receive support for your further development as a new chapter member? Then take part in our Mentoring Program 2024.
The mentoring program of the PMI Germany Chapter is entering its next round.
After a successful first round in 2023, the team has refined the program and is pleased to announce the highlights for 2024:
- 6-month cycle with at least three virtual networking meetings (kick-off, check-in and feedback/closing round)
- Same flexibility for mentoring pairs already valued in 2023
- No local restrictions, all activities can be implemented virtually
- Algorithm-supported matching process for the optimal pairing of mentors and mentees
- Certificate of participation and PDUs for PMI certificate holders (only mentors)
- NEW in 2024: A "How-To" guide and a special onboarding event for new mentors
We are looking to onboard many new mentors this year. If you have no experience as a mentor but fulfil the requirements to become one, the mentoring team will be happy to help and advise you on your new journey.
The eligibility criteria for participation in 2024 are as follows:
Mentee:
- Less than 1 year membership in the PMI Germany Chapter
- Less than 1 year membership in PMI
- No PMP certification, CAPM, micro-credential or other PMI certifications
Mentor:
- At least 2 years of PMI membership
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management
- At least one certification as Project Management Professional or equivalent
Schedule:
- 20 March - Start of registration
- 17 April - End of registration
- 21 May - Virtual kick-off with all participants
