Would you like to share your experience in project management or develop your career further?
The next cycle of the PMI Germany Chapter mentoring program is about to start.
Registration for the next round of the PMI Germany Chapter mentoring program is now open.
The program connects experienced professionals in project management with members who want to develop their careers. Mentoring pairs work together over six months and exchange ideas on professional goals, experiences, and challenges.
For the 2026 cycle, 60 mentoring pairs will have the opportunity to participate — the same number as in the record year 2025.
The matching of mentors and mentees is initially supported by an algorithm. Afterwards, the matches are reviewed and finalized manually to ensure that personal expectations and preferences are considered as much as possible.
What the 2026 mentoring cycle offers
- A six-month program with at least three virtual meetings (kick-off, check-in, and feedback/closing session)
- An onboarding event for new mentors
- Supporting materials for mentors and mentees
- The flexibility within mentoring pairs that participants have appreciated in previous years
- No location restrictions, as all activities can take place virtually
The mentoring team also welcomes new mentors this year. If you have not yet gained mentoring experience but meet the requirements, the mentoring team will support and guide you as you start this role.
To strengthen diversity within the program, the mentoring team particularly encourages female members to apply.
