Your start as a member of the PMI Germany Chapter was a step full of motivation for you – but at the same time associated with uncertainties? Questions arose such as: What is expected of me? Who can I contact? How do I find my place? What do I get out of being a member here? What is my benefit?

This is exactly where our buddy concept comes in. Experienced members accompany you in the initial phase of our community, explain the added value of membership, offer networking opportunities and are your contact to a local community. This structured support creates orientation and integration into the community for you at the same time.

At the same time, the personal relationship between you and your buddy creates trust. As a new member, you feel welcome, taken seriously and not left alone. This sense of belonging is a key factor in whether you stay with us longer.

What should you pay attention to as a new member?

To make sure you don't miss anything in the chapter, we hereby offer you a special service:

On the one hand, as a new member, you can attend an online course to learn more about the chapter. On the other hand – and this is the special feature and the main benefit of this program – as a new member, you can receive a Chapter Buddy for a period of two months if you wish. Your buddy will be at your side with organizational and content-related questions and will support you in getting to know the chapter. Regular, informal discussions will help you to reduce uncertainties at an early stage and to open up our offers for you in their entirety.

Taking responsibility together

With the buddy concept, the PMI Germany Chapter wants to promote a culture of togetherness. After all, a successful start often decides whether commitment grows and remains. Sometimes it doesn't take much – just a person to accompany them.
