PMBOK® 7 Series of PMI Germany Chapter – new year, new topics
On August 01 2021, the new PMBOK® 7 went on open sale, members could download it as a personal copy already since the beginning of July as a PDF. Therefore, the PMI Germany Chapter had organized a series on the new PMBOK® edition to accompany the new publication.
Our series on PMBOK® Guide 7 is intended to give our members and other interested parties an understanding of the new PMBOK® Guide and to answer your open questions about it. First of all, three grandees of project management in Germany had started the series by taking a closer look at different aspects of PMBOK® Guide 7 and discussing them with you. The extension announced for the end of the year 2021 with four more highly interesting lectures in German language led to a true attendance record at the last event with the lecture of Jörg Vanhoefer "Project Management in Transition - Hybrid Recipes from 2 Worlds" with 60 participants out of 79 registered, which was above the usual no-show rate of 50% for online events.
And now we continue with an absolute novelty.
While the previous 7 lectures on the "7th" were all in German, we now dare to present a lecture in English: "Servant Leadership the secret Project Management tool" is the name of the consideration of servant leadership, which will be presented by Stephanie Jaeger in English on February 17th at 7 pm. One month later, on March 17th, Markus Kopko will tell us – again in German – about the challenges for the project manager in future regarding leadership and people skills and new technologies (projects of the future), and what the PMBOK® Guide 7 says about it (link to registration: https://www.pmi-gc.de/en/eventkalender-3/738).
