To gain a global perspective on how AI works as a catalyst for change in digital transformation, all PMI members worldwide are invited to participate in a survey to provide insights on the use of AI in project management. The project is designed to gain a better understanding of the future of project management and organizational change through digital leadership.
The PMI chapters from Sweden and Rio de Janeiro, in close cooperation with other chapters in Europe, Latin America, North America, India and Asia, have launched this initiative.

Aim of the survey
The goal of the survey is to determine PMI members' knowledge and experience with implementing AI, as well as their openness to using AI as a tool in project management. It will explore the types of AI solutions being implemented, how teams are preparing for them, the challenges they face, and their willingness to change jobs if their current employer is lagging behind in adapting to new technologies such as AI, and whether adapting to new technological advances is a selection criterion when looking for a new job.
It also aims to find out how companies are preparing for the adoption of AI, including workforce training and hiring AI specialists, and how they are considering the impact of demographic and geographic differences.
The survey will run through September 30, 2023, and the report is scheduled for completion on December 14, 2023.
