The central topic of this conference is sustainable IT projects.
As a co-organizer of the “Project Management and Process Models 2023” conference, the chapter offers our volunteers, members and friends the opportunity to network with project managers outside the PMI community and to discuss technical topics.
Today, in many cases sustainability requirements are an essential part of project assignments. On the one hand, IT solutions should ensure more efficient use of existing resources, but on the other hand, IT itself is a resource consumer and those responsible for the project must carry this challenge into the project and ultimately prove the project's success from a sustainability perspective.
The two conference days each begin with a keynote lecture.
- Measuring sustainability (working title) (Stefan Bochtler, Managing Director & Partner, Boston Consulting Group)
- Datacenter Evolution and Sustainable Digital Infrastructures (Dr. Gunnar Schomaker, University of Paderborn)
We then offer exciting specialist lectures. In addition, we have invited lectures from the Future Track and an interesting training program on current PM topics at the conference. You also have the opportunity to actively participate in the dialogue between scientists and practitioners in open space workshops with your own questions.
The conference location is the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences
Haldener Str. 182 in 58095 Hagen
