The 15th edition of the annual Pulse of the Profession^® has been published and has produced some very interesting results.

The 2024 edition explores the following questions:

• How do project management approaches (predictive, hybrid, agile) affect the success of projects?
• What influence do working models (in-person work, remote work, hybrid location work) have on the success of projects?
• What does the future of project work look like?
• What or which enablers enable improved project performance?

A spoiler to the first point: statistically speaking, the chosen project management approach does not play a significant role in the success or failure of projects. It's not about predictive, hybrid or agile, it's about choosing the right approach for the project in its environment.
