Good news: Now, the Study Group of the PMI Germany Chapter will be continued! The German Study Group supports the development of project management professionals, especially those seeking CAPM or PMP certification. Through a series of carefully planned sessions, the German Study Group provides participants with invaluable insights and skills while supporting the mission of the PMI Germany Chapter to promote the practice of project management.

This article explains the reasons for participation, and gives an outlook for further planning.

Our Volunteer Ramanjeet Kaur explains the reasons:  
“One of the things that I missed during my PMP preparations earlier this year was the presence of people around me who were also following the same goal and with whom I could share my understanding of the key concepts and discuss why some of the answers in the mock tests were wrong although they appeared to be correct to me.

After joining the PMI Germany Chapter in May, I came to know about an initiative called “Study Group” which addresses the same point as addressed above. This motivated me to join it as a volunteer and make sure that the other PMP Aspirants do not face same problems I did. The Study Group is an evolving initiative that focuses to address the pain points of the PMP Aspirants during their exam preparation after visiting Prep courses and connect with PMP certified managers, tutors and other PMP Aspirants. It involves a series of sessions concentrating on different parts of the PMBOK 7 where the PMP Aspirants get an opportunity to ask any questions to experienced PMP Tutors and newly certified PMPs. Since the initiative is new, it improves with each session based on the feedback received from the participants. The best thing is that the questions can even be submitted anytime (before, during and after the sessions) to the respective tutors.”

As our Study Group continues to deliver high-quality content and foster a supportive community, it remains an important resource for PMI Germany Chapter members and project management professionals in Germany.
