The motto of PVM 2026 is:
Projects in transition: disruption, artificial intelligence, hybrid methods.
We are looking for contributions from practitioners about their positive and negative experiences with new and established methods and approaches. No academic paper is expected, but rather reports from practice.
The twelfth PVM conference will take place on November 5–6 at the Herman Hollerith Center in Böblingen. Its motto is:
Projects in transition: disruption, artificial intelligence, hybrid methods.
Disruption and artificial intelligence are becoming a constant part of project work. At the same time, practical experience shows that neither purely traditional nor purely agile approaches fully meet the diverse requirements of modern projects. Among others, the following questions may play a role:
- How do disruptive conditions change the planning, control, and organization of projects?
- What are the potentials and limitations of artificial intelligence in project management – technically, organizationally, and ethically?
- How can hybrid and post-agile approaches be meaningfully designed, evaluated, and further developed?
We welcome long and short papers as well as practical contributions from established researchers, subject matter experts, and early-career professionals.
In addition, we are specifically looking for contributions from practitioners on their positive and negative experiences with new and established methods and approaches. No academic paper is required, but rather reports from practice.
Further details on the process, formal requirements, and contact options can be found on our website: https://pvm-tagung.de/call-for-paper
