The newly established Community of Practice (CoP) Energy has already held four meetings and is rapidly building momentum. Bringing together professionals from across the energy sector, the community is focused on addressing key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the industry.
The CoP Energy consists of members from across the energy sector, including organizations involved in energy generation, production, transformation, and related services.
During its first meetings, six key topic areas were identified as priorities for collaboration:
- Stakeholders, Governance, Regulation, and Policy
- Technology, Data, and Digitalization
- Safety and Risk Management
- Markets, Industry Environment, and the Energy Transition
- Business Viability and Investments
- Project Complexity, Organization, Resources, and Capacity
The eight members agreed to begin their work by focusing on the topic: Project Complexity, Organization, Resources, and Capacity
The next focus session will take place on 17 June at 7:00 p.m., where participants will work on identifying industry-specific approaches to improve project delivery and outcomes within the energy sector.
The Community of Practice is now led by Daniel Walter and welcomes additional participants interested in contributing their expertise and perspectives.
