The PMOGA Community at PMI Germany Chapter is where PMO professionals come together to learn from each other, discuss challenges, and advance the value contribution of modern PMOs. Currently, 14 active members engage monthly in seminar-style sessions on relevant PMO topics – open, practical, and with real depth. What's in it for you? – Your benefits at a glance
1. Hands-on exchange that moves you forward
You gain insights into real PMO situations from different industries. No theory, but real experiences, lessons learned, and best practices.
2. Monthly deep-dive sessions
Each meeting focuses on a clearly defined topic prepared and presented by a member, followed by a group discussion. The result: concrete insights you can apply directly in your PMO.
3. Topics that truly impact PMO value
Our focus areas are guided by the challenges PMOs face today. Examples of topics we have already discussed:
- Resource Management – capacities, skills, prioritization
- KPIs & PMO Benefits – how to demonstrate impact and create transparency
- Project management software – tools, selection criteria, best practices
- PMO maturity & roles – positioning, development, impact
4. A community that helps you grow
You can bring in topics, moderate, receive feedback, and make your expertise visible. This strengthens not only your PMO but also your personal development.
5. Peer-level exchange
Our community thrives on openness, trust, and a shared commitment to advancing PMO work in Germany. Here you will find people who face the same challenges as you.
Who is the community for?
For everyone who wants to shape, improve, or rethink PMO work:
- PMO leaders and staff
- Project, program, and portfolio managers
- Those interested in PMO and looking to develop further
- People who want to actively contribute
Do you want to get involved and are you willing to prepare a topic from time to time? Then you can benefit from the community and you've come to the right place. Our meetings thrive on active participation – and we welcome every new perspective.
