18 students of the Ignaz-Taschner-Gymnasium Dachau are dealing with the old town of Dachau in this project as part of their P-Seminar and have set themselves the goal of making guided tours of Dachau's monuments more attractive to young people.
On a methodological level, all work groups learn a lot about project management: why it is necessary to document work steps, how much planning needs to go into detail, and how good communication between all participants helps to avoid planning errors.
The research, user interface and programming teams are highly motivated, committed and proud of their effective collaboration after the rather theory-heavy launch phase in fall 2022.
"In the next phase until the Easter vacations, we will move on to final testing as well as planning for the official release of the app," says Marcus Andrä, who oversees the project on PMI's side as part of our SRP program. Marcus further: "I enjoy working with the students tremendously and it's great to see how the whole team applies the PjMgmt tools."
