CoP Energy | 2. Meeting for the Relaunch

1. Regular Meeting of the CoP Energy on 17.02.2026!

The world is facing changes such as digitalization, electrification in the automotive industry, and climate change. The focus is on — energy. In this respect, alternative energy generation options are becoming increasingly important, and the industry needs to reorient itself. Projects in particular have a special role to play here — namely, to enable these necessary innovations in the first place. Projects such as that of TenneT Germany will not remain isolated cases: >>> Link to article (LinkedIn). The Community of Practice (CoP) Energy aims to focus on finding ideas and ways in which project management can help bring these changes into the energy sector. Therefore, the aims of this Community of Practice are: To show how energy development projects can really succeed, especially green ones, with which measures and tools. Don't miss the opportunity to deepen your understanding and contribute to the discourse on sustainable energy practices.

In order to achieve this, we should, if necessary. do the following things:

• develop a "toolbox",
• highlight current reference examples for the approach,
• create an active platform for knowledge exchange and continuous improvement with this community,
• jointly build up competence,
• promote potential collaborations and partnerships through networking,
• develop concrete tools/templates for strategic restructuring in the energy sector,
• find new approaches and ideas for the members of our chapter,
• publish and publicize solutions for industry projects.

At this second meeting, we should further refine the roadmap we drew up at the kick-off and agree on a common way of working. And, if necessary, find people who are willing to drive things forward. We want to:

• Expand our network
