Clear Responsibilities. Faster Decisions. Better Project Outcomes.
Many project delays are not caused by technical challenges but by unclear responsibilities, slow decisions, and misaligned stakeholders. In cross-functional teams, these difficulties can quickly become major obstacles to successful delivery.
In this interactive webinar, David Davis introduces two complementary frameworks that help project professionals overcome these challenges:
-
RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) clarifies who performs the work, who owns the outcome, and who needs to be consulted or informed.
-
DACI (Driver, Approver, Contributor, Informed) establishes clear decision-making authority, ensuring that decisions move forward efficiently and transparently.
Participants will discover how to combine these frameworks across three key areas: project decisions, production decisions, and the critical transition between them, including go-live readiness and operational handover.
The session will also explore how DACI can support responsible AI governance, clarifying who authorises AI use, approves AI-generated recommendations, and remains accountable for oversight.
Through practical examples and common pitfalls, attendees will learn how to improve decision-making and accountability in agile, hybrid, and predictive project environments.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
-
Explain the four DACI roles and how they address common decision-making challenges in cross-functional teams.
-
Distinguish between RACI and DACI and understand how they complement each other in decision-making and execution.
-
Apply a structured DACI approach across project, transition, and production activities.
-
Identify how DACI can support responsible AI adoption through clear decision rights, approval processes, and governance responsibilities.
