Mithun A. Sridharan: From Project Manager to Leader
From Project Manager to Leader
5 capabilities to accelerate your leadership journey
Are you the "driving force" behind your projects?
You're reliable. You tame chaos. You handle escalations. You hit your milestones. You deliver results. You are the "safe pair of hands" that your organization could rely on.
But, while you're busy checking off tasks, your peers get invited to the strategic meetings you only hear about later. Or, worse, you don't event get to hear about such meetings!
Many project managers deliver exceptional results, but are stuck at the "mid-level" in their organizations, only to seek recognition beyond their organizations.
The skills that made you a great Project Manager are the very things keeping you from executive conversations and leadership roles. Discipline and detail are just the "table stakes"—leadership requires a completely different playbook. The transition from managing projects to shaping organizational direction requires new thinking, new behaviors and strategic visibility. This workshop distills five practical insights that help project managers position themselves for leadership roles, shifting from execution-focused delivery to influence-driven strategy. Through real examples, proven frameworks and actionable steps, participants will learn how to evolve their identity, mindset and impact to step confidently into senior leadership.
The Transformation
This isn't another certification prep course. This is an intensive, in-person workshop designed to rewire your professional identity. We move beyond project management to master the 5 Power Moves that signal you are ready for the next level and position you for leadership roles:
- The Mindset Shift: Stop owning delivery; start owning direction
- Strategic Value: Translate "project speak" into the executive parlance
- Persuasive Influence: Learn to move people and resources when you don't have the title to order them
- Executive Presence: Master the behaviors that command respect in high-stakes conversations
- The Career Roadmap: Stop waiting for a promotion and start engineering your ascent
What You Will Gain
- A practical system to audit your time and shift from tactical execution to strategic leadership
- Learn to brief VPs and CEOs so they actually listen and act
- A 4-step loop to build alignment across departments without formal authority
- Define the talent and processes you'll leave behind to prove you've outgrown your current role
Who Should Attend?
Senior Project Managers, Program Managers and Technical Leads who have mastered delivery but feel "stuck" in the execution layer. If you want to be seen as a strategic partner rather than a high-paid task manager, this room is for you.
Don't just manage the plan. Own your future.
