LGDA Online event - From Project Risk towards Uncertainty Management with Paul Cuypers
PMI Darmstadt Webinar – 08 June 2026 | 18:00 CEST
From Project Risk towards Uncertainty Management
with Paul W. M. Cuypers
Experience shows that controlling tasks, activities, and risks alone is not sufficient to achieve project success. Projects are journeys into the unknown, and the true key to success lies in managing uncertainty.
But here is the challenge: the concept of uncertainty itself is uncertain — and you cannot control what you cannot clearly define.
In this session, Paul W.M. Cuypers will explore the conceptual definition of project uncertainty, present four fundamental strategies to reduce it, and introduce next-generation agile techniques designed to systematically improve information awareness and availability.
The webinar will feature practical insights into:
- Project Metadata techniques
- Result Breakdown Structures
- Power Kanban
- Modern approaches to uncertainty management in projects
