Sunil is a Board Director and former Global CEO with deep experience across Telecoms, Technology, Professional Services, and platform-led organisations, operating at scale across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and emerging markets. Sunil also is an Executive in Residence at the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund (PIF) and a Board Trustee at CIFOR-ICRAF.

As President & CEO of the Project Management Institute (PMI), he led the organisation through sustained growth and modernisation—scaling to 1.5 million certificate holders, achieving ~45% CAGR, and building a platform valued at over $5bn. This included portfolio expansion, digital transformation, and governance evolution appropriate to a global professional body.

In 2020, Sunil was recognised by CEO Magazine as one of the Top 20 Most Dynamic CEOs in the UK for delivering a global enterprise transformation while simultaneously leading a coordinated COVID-19 response across 300 offices worldwide—balancing resilience, stakeholder trust, and long-term performance.

Sunil holds a Distinction from London Business School’s Sloan Master's in Leadership and Strategy, a globally respected executive programme focused on board-level decision-making, systems leadership, and strategic judgement.
