Around the Baltic : Using AI for Project Scheduling

Welcome to our 4th PMIGC North Event,
We are upgrading our "North Event": Until now, it has been held annually as an online event for the region. This year, it will become the “Around the Baltic” event in collaboration with the PMI chapters in Denmark and Sweden, which means we hope to welcome many guests from Denmark and Sweden for a crossing-the-border exchange!
Save the date : Tuesday, 4th Nov 2025, 19:00 Uhr – 20:30 Uhr
Ort : Online/virtual (Hyhyve) (Language: Englisch)
- Keynote Peter Ivanov:
"How to motivate home office workers and build powerful virtual project teams!" - Afterwards: Chance for discussion/ networking for all participants
About the keynote
The biggest problem in estimating project effort is not human error, but the lack of a consistent, objective model that can handle complexity and individual projects.
In this event, participants will learn how a neural network model can be used for effort estimation. Artificial intelligence is trained with historical project data to predict future effort with greater accuracy.
We are delighted to have Dr. Burcu Şengüneş as a speaker at our event!
About the speaker
Dr. Burcu Şengüneş, PMP
Projekt- und Supply Chain Manager
Additional Information:
We are using the online event/networking platform “Hyhyve” for the event. This enables participants to communicate with each other interactively; the use of a webcam is recommended. It is also recommended that you join a few minutes before the actual start of the event to familiarize yourself with the environment and for a quick “setup” in Hyhyve.
The link to the event will be sent to all registered participants one day in advance. Registration for the event can be completed here on the PMI Chapter Germany website until late evening the day before. To use the registration function, you must create a profile on the PMI German Chapter website.
The event is limited to 30 participants per country (Germany/Denmark/Sweden). Up to 1 PDU can be earned for participating in this event according to the PMI Talent Triangle.
We are looking forward for your participation to have interesting and passionate discussions!
