How AI will change project management in the next 5 years

AI is here to stay. That's why we project managers also need to look at how AI will change our tasks in the coming years. It doesn't matter whether we are talking about classic project management in the waterfall model or agile approaches.

PMI Infinity has been available to PMI members for some time now. But what can the tool do? Will the role of a project manager still exist in 5 years' time, or will AI complete our tasks faster, more reliably and more cheaply?
We would like to discuss this with you.

Andre Fuchs

After almost 20 years in various roles as a service provider for large telecommunications companies, Marc moved to T-Systems onsite in 2015, where he works as a manager.

In addition to his tasks as a personnel and specialist manager, he also provides training as a management trainer and OKR coach. He regularly uses the methods he teaches - Lean Startup, Management 3.0 and OKRs. He is a speaker at various conferences and helps teams and companies to develop and select the right (project) approaches for them.

As a PMP, (SAFe) Scrum Master and Agile Coach, he promotes the understanding of hybrid project management. Since 2018 he has been leading various chapters of T-Systems onsite. Since 02/2024 he leads the IT-Security Team.
