This session provides an introduction to project cost management based on the PMBOK Guide. It focuses on the four main processes: Plan Cost Management, Estimate Costs, Determine Budget, and Control Costs. The session concludes with a look at the practical application of these processes in real-world projects.

About the Tutor

Hardy Steffens successfully completed his Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification in May 2025 - almost two years after earning his Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® in March 2023. The proximity to the exam alone makes Hardy Steffens particularly suitable as a trainer, even if this does not correspond to his professional orientation.

Hardy Steffens has been volunteering as Head of Events - Region West at the PMI Germany Chapter since June 2023.
