Anyone who still remembers about Desertec will also be able to remember that there were various reasons that caused the mega-project to fail. Now there are new approaches, such as hydrogen projects. The first event of the newly founded Community of Practice Green Energy & Environment (CoP GEE) of the PMI Germany Chapter will focus on opportunities and risks.
Our world concerns us all, not just our descendants and other younger generations. In this respect, sooner rather than later, we will have to deal with the more sustainable production of alternative energies if we are active in the energy industry. According to PMI (30.03.2024), there are 93 members in the PMI Germany Chapter who work in this industrial sector.
For members and interested parties, there will be a very interesting guest speaker at the kick-off event of the newly founded CoP GEE (Link zu CoPs). In fact, our first session will focus on the fascinating topic of "Green Hydrogen Projects in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities".
We are honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing, an outstanding expert with extensive experience in the field of green energy and hydrogen, as a speaker for this event. Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing will give us valuable insights and shed light on the challenges and opportunities related to green hydrogen projects in Africa.
The event will take place as an online event on 23.04.2024 from 18:00 to 19:00 in German language.
