Information about the participating organizations:
The EPIZ – Development Policy Education and Information Centre is a centre for global learning in Berlin and has been working on global justice issues for general education schools since 1986 and in vocational education and training for more than 25 years. Vocational teaching materials, materials for general education schools, interactive school events as well as practice-oriented training and advice are offered to integrate globalisation and sustainability into the learning field lessons of the vocational school and along the curriculum of general education schools.
As an independent association, the PMI GC is embedded in the network of the globally active Project Management Institute (PMI for® short). As the regional representative office of PMI, the chapter is a network for project, program and portfolio management. In particular, it offers a number of re-certification options. It also promotes project management as a discipline in its own right and the dissemination of the standards of project work developed by the global association in the regions.
Social Responsibility is an initiative of the PMI GC. Members of the chapter use their competence and experience in project management as volunteers to support sustainable projects with a social impact.
