Artificial intelligence can support projects. But the difference between progress and standstill is still made by people. Even in the age of AI, project success depends largely on the power skills of project managers.
This is exactly where the PMI Germany Chapter comes in: the former General PM Community of Practice is being realigned and will continue as the Power Skills CoP. Its goal is to explore core competencies such as communication, collaborative leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking in depth and translate them into practical guidance for everyday project work.
While AI helps analyze information faster, prepare decisions, and streamline administrative tasks, it does not replace human judgment, effective communication, or leadership. On the contrary, these skills are becoming even more critical in an increasingly digital project environment.
The Power Skills CoP provides a space to reflect on these capabilities, share experiences, and jointly develop ideas on how project managers can apply them effectively under changing conditions and still achieve sustainable project success.
The Community of Practice will therefore continue under the name Power Skills CoP.
The relaunch kick-off will take place on March 9, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Anyone interested in contributing and actively shaping the community is warmly invited to join.
Registration is open until March 8, 6:00 p.m.
