Speaker: Rosa Gilsanz Mir

Chemical Engineer | Business Economist | PMP® | PMI-RMP® | DEI Advocate

Rosa Gilsanz Mir is a chemical engineer and business economist with more than 20 years of experience in the energy and (petro)chemical industries. She combines strong technical expertise with business insight, strategic thinking, and an empathetic leadership style. As a certified PMP® and PMI-RMP®, she brings a broad perspective to project leadership, portfolio management, and risk management.

In addition to her professional work, Rosa serves currently as the Head of the Risk Management Community of Practice at the PMI Germany Chapter eV. Internationally, she contributes as a member of the Global Standards Consensus Committee for ANSI Project Management Standards. As an author and speaker, she shares her experience on project and portfolio management, risk management and risk culture and DEI.

Rosa is a passionate advocate for more inclusive and diverse project environments. From 2022 to 2025, she served as Lead of the DEI Circle of the PMI Germany Chapter, where she helped promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the project management community in Germany and worldwide. She is committed to creating cultures in which different perspectives are welcomed, people feel respected and included, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute and grow. Her work places particular emphasis on advancing women in project management and STEM.
