Reflections about project management and long distance running.
Similarities and differences – How both disciplines benefit each other.

Abstract:
Running 100 miles and managing a project may seem vastly different on the surface, but they share some common principles that can be insightful when reflecting on both experiences.
In my presentation about my 100 mile run project I will be sharing experiences and comparisons to business projects on topics such as goal setting, planning and preparation, endurance and persistence, adaptability, teamwork and support, continuous improvement and celebrating milestones.
You will also take away some pragmatic ideas how to deal with obstacles and setbacks, and how to keep your focus towards achieving your goal.
