Let's melt the Ice - Improve you Team Building

At the start of our project, we want to bring the team together with team building workshops. For this purpose, we like to use so-called icebreaker games.

We've all been victims of icebreakers gone wrong. Activities that are meant to be fun and bonding, but instead, feel forced, awkward, and are just moving way too fast for our introverted friends. Too often, the ice is "broken" without consent from the participants, leaving them feeling uncomfortable rather than connected.

Imagine if icebreakers could be more than just silly games but actually serve as meaningful tools to 'melt the ice' and create genuine connections.

Through this workshop, you'll learn how to get buy-in even from the toughest crowds, from classrooms to “boredrooms” and leave with strategies to build engagement, trust and connections gradually.

Jan Keck

Jan is a recovering shy guy, a people-loving introvert and a deep connector.

He is on a mission to teach empathetic leaders how to design group experiences that spark engagement, increase trust and foster deep connections, so nobody feels left out.

In the past few years, I ran over 100 workshops and trainings with over 1,000 trainers, facilitators, educators and team leaders, teaching them how to recreate magical human moments when we can’t be in the same room together.

His work has been featured on TEDx, CBC News, Breakfast TV, Cityline, HuffPost and now, he is currently writing his first book called “icemelters”.

Participation

On 08/17/2023, we will start a Zoom session at 5:00 pm. It is limited to 100 participants. To participate, we recommend installing the Zoom app or the Zoom app on a device of your choice (http://zoom.us/download or App Store). A participation via browser is also possible. Registration with Zoom is not required for participation.Make yourself comfortable at home, provide yourself with drinks and food and click on the following link at around 17:00 to participate in the meeting:
