Building Inclusive Project Teams: Practical Strategies for Project Leaders

Building Inclusive Project Teams: Practical Strategies for Project Leaders

Diversity and inclusion can strengthen collaboration, innovation, and project outcomes. Yet unconscious bias can influence how project leaders communicate, make decisions, and engage with team members, often without realizing it.

This session explores how unconscious bias develops and how it can affect project teams and their results. Participants will learn practical strategies to recognize bias, encourage diverse perspectives, and create more inclusive project environments where everyone can contribute and thrive.

What You'll Learn

Participants will gain insights into:

  • The foundations of diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias.
  • How bias can impact project decisions, communication, and team dynamics.
  • Practical techniques to foster inclusion and strengthen team collaboration.

Whether you lead local, virtual, or cross-functional teams, this session will equip you with actionable tools to build more inclusive and high-performing project teams.
