A platform for PMO professionals - now also in the PMI Germany Chapter!
We are pleased to announce the official launch of the PMOGA (Project Management Office Global Alliance) Community in the PMI Germany Chapter! This initiative brings PMO professionals together to share best practices, learn from each other and actively shape the future of project management.
A first meeting with members of the previous CoP PMO has already taken place. The foundation stone for the new PMOGA Community has been laid and we look forward to welcoming more interested participants from the PMO field.
Why do we need a PMOGA Community?
The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a central role in the successful management of projects, programs and portfolios. But the challenges are manifold - from agile transformations to stakeholder management. The PMOGA Community offers a platform for:
- Exchange of experience - discussions with like-minded people
- Best practices - proven methods and innovative approaches
- Networking - contacts with PMO professionals from various industries
- Learning from different perspectives - Presentations and discussions on current topics
How does the community work?
- Monthly meetings (virtual) with changing topics, prepared by the members and moderated in turn.
- Expert input, roundtables & interactive discussion rounds
- Topics such as:
- Tactical resource planning
- Priority of projects in the portfolio
- PMO Maturity Level
- KPIs - added benefits of a PMO and what causes PMOs to fail
Who can participate?
The community aims at:
✔ PMO managers and employees
✔ Project, program and portfolio managers
✔ Anyone who is interested in PMO topics
Anyone who enjoys preparing a topic and presenting it to the community is welcome.
