Maximizing project success to make the world a better place. That is the purpose of PMI. In this context, the Social Responsibility Program Initiative is one of the strategic priorities of the PMI Germany Chapter.
Current goals of the initiative are:
- Expanding our projects: We want to expand our engagement to new areas and target groups in order to reach and support more people.
- Promoting cooperation: By creating networks and partnerships with other organizations and companies, we want to exploit synergies and achieve greater impact together.
- Strengthening member participation: It is important to us that our members are actively involved in our projects and can contribute their ideas and skills.
As Dr Aniko Kovacs-Bertrand is unfortunately no longer able to continue in the role for personal reasons, we are delighted to have found a new program manager in Iselie Iglesias. She brings with her many years of experience in project management and social engagement. In her new role, she wants to ensure that our projects have a positive impact on society and also offer our members valuable opportunities for personal and professional development.
This is achieved through various measures:
- Providing expertise on projects for charities and NGOs
- Providing expertise for projects at schools
- Educational projects at universities in collaboration with the University Team of the PMI Germany Chapter
- Social mentoring
- and much more.
