What to Expect:
Dear project managers, PMOs, new PLs and everyone passionate about projects. Welcome to the kick-off of PMI’s Local Group Ulm: an in-person, community-first meetup to re-connect professionals in and around Ulm. We’re looking for experienced PLs, PMOs, new PLs and other project enthusiasts to co-create a lean and realistic agenda for 2026.

We’ll open with a short spark and then a roundtable to capture your needs, exchange practical experiences, and build local connections.

Hot topics we propose to explore:

- AI in project management: real use cases (planning, risk, reporting)
- Portfolio & PMO essentials: prioritization, benefits & metrics
- Hybrid delivery in practice (e.g., Scrum + Stage-Gate)
- Risks & Opportunities across project phases
- Tools that truly help (and those that don’t)
- Power skills: influence, conflict navigation, stakeholder alignment
- Lessons learned & “failure forums” (what didn’t work and why)
- Casual hangout: meet peers, trade ideas and build new connections

Bring Your Own Question (BYOQ): if there’s a challenge you want to unpack with peers, this is the place.
We value clarity over formality: working language is English, but feel free to contribute in German whenever that’s more comfortable.
