The fight against climate change is a global challenge. Greenhouse gases don’t stop at borders, so reducing the quantity we emit is everyone’s responsibility.
There is a European cross-PMI-chapter initiative underway to build awareness of the climate crisis.
In order to take action and build solutions, we first need to understand the problem. Climate Fresk is a powerful tool for providing a quality climate education. It is accessible to anyone and can be scaled quickly within an organisation or community.
In just 3 hours, the collaborative Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action.

What is the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP)?

The YEP Program is an activity to promote young talents in project management, which is about to start in 2023 within the Diversity Initiative of the PMI Germany Chapter e.V.

The Program is intended for all young talents interested in project management, whether you need to kickstart your PM career or needs support along the way.

What does the program offer?

The goal of the program is to support young talents in their development in project management careers to empower them to embrace and drive change and climb the corporate ladder.

The program aims to increase the participants’ networking, share of knowledge, exchange of experiences, support in climbing the career ladder and in continuous learning and improvement.

Furthermore, you have the opportunity to be acquainted with PMI and PMI Germany Chapter e.V., the various initiatives, certifications and exciting volunteering opportunities.

How is the YEP Program organized?

The program takes place online and consists of joint virtual meetings and workshops, self-reflection, and exchange in small groups. The program continues over various months, to support the reflection, the exchange and the best practice of the discussed topics.

You could be a graduate or a young professional, we look forward to get to know you!

The increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) is also leading to change in project management. Novel (intelligent) systems offer great potential for optimizing processes, controlling them more efficiently and gaining new insights into current projects.
Similar uses are also conceivable at the project portfolio level, for example resource-optimized project selection based on past project developments.
