On November 8, the Sustainability Summit 2023 will take place. It is a virtual event organized by several European PMI Chapters, including the PMI Germany Chapter.
First-class speakers and global experts in the field of sustainability will share their knowledge and exchange ideas in lectures and panel discussions.
After a keynote presentation, there will be three parallel tracks on the topics of People, Planet and Projects. In the tracks you will have the opportunity to look specifically at how we can introduce, promote and improve sustainability aspects in our behavior, in what we do, in our business, in our work and ultimately in the world. We will have the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into how projects can contribute to sustainability and how we as project managers can plan and execute our projects with sustainability in mind as another project objective. Participants will also gain a deeper insight into the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) and valuable advice on how to achieve project goals in a sustainable way.
Simon King, award-winning naturalist, conservationist, filmmaker, author and artist, will deliver the opening keynote. In addition, many other experts in the field of sustainability will inspire us with their insights and thoughts in the three tracks. In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, there will also be various virtual panels in which participants can contribute their insights and ideas. Furthermore, a hackathon on the topic of sustainability is planned.
