POSTPONED: Online event with Ahmad Al Zein: Denial management as a gateway to enhance organizational performance
POSTPONED due to the deterioration of Lebanese internet connectivity, planned to be rescheduled once the situation stabilizes
Denial management as a gateway to enhance organizational performance
Denial management is the process of methodically investigating each denial and conducting a root-cause analysis to determine why the employee is denying or not accepting his or her weaknesses, or even at some point not confessing or denying that they have weaknesses, lack some of the required skills, or simply that they occasionally need improvement and development.
It’s not unusual for people to be unable or reluctant to recognize their own shortcomings and skill gaps. Employees who fall under this group are quite different from those who accept criticism well and utilize it to further their careers.
Dr. Ahmad El Zein
I completed my doctorate in Business Administration at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, in 2013, having held a PMP project management degree since 2008. I have over fifteen years of teaching experience and twelve years of training practice. I have lectured and organized many conferences, trainings, and symposiums in Lebanon. In addition to four English books on Leadership, I have had fifteen articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. My writing reflects a practical approach that is understandable to management practitioners and academics. My scholarly interests range widely from project management to Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and strategic management. My teaching philosophy reflects my interest in collaborative learning rather than the "full frontal teaching" method characteristic of large-scale lectures and seminars.
