Is Your Risk Management Pragmatic? How to Focus on Value when Addressing Uncertainty
As a project manager, have you ever felt that risk management in projects is almost impossible to get right? With all the tools and techniques available, it seems that risks we were focusing on are not the ones that matter most in the end. At the same time, there is a pressure to manage more and more scenarios, expend time on looking for mitigation at expense of being able to execute pressing tasks in the project? Have you or your colleagues ever given up and left the risk management resourced only as much as it is needed to report to your sponsor that “we are doing it”?
If any of the above resonates with you, Arturas will share a few practical insights how to deal with uncertainty in projects without over-administrating it but providing concrete value to stakeholders.
