Digital technologies and AI: Where is AI already today and where is this journey going?

After a long time, the Local Group Southwest is organizing a face-to-face event at the DFKI in Kaiserslautern.

Prof. Vollmer gives a historical introduction to the topic of AI and then goes into more detail about machine learning (ML).
The rapid development of ML is shown, as are the limits and the problems identified. Regarding the application of ML,
typical business questions are named. Regarding the question "Where is the journey going?" current issues are addressed,
such as MLOps, transparency, accountability and privacy.
