That is why we hold our monthly welcome hour for new members—a format for exchange, insights, and participation. At this event, our new members have the opportunity to ask questions about topics that interest them in connection with the PMI Germany Chapter community. The open dialogue in the early evening is moderated by Jörg Glunde, Vice President of Membership of PMI Germany Chapter e.V., possibly together with other volunteers from the PMI Germany Chapter.

Study Group Session - Processes: Scope management (Erich Pawlik)

Scope management is one of the three cornerstones of the magic triangle of project management and the foundation for time and cost management. The session will discuss the most important terms related to scope management, explain the structured approach recommended by the Project Management Institute, including some related tools, and highlight the special features of plan-driven and agile approaches.

At our meetings so far last year, it has become clear that our members would like to take a closer look at the PMBOK® Guide. At the next meeting, one of our participants will give a presentation on the topic of ‘Stakeholders in the Performance Domains’ and show how these can be applied in projects in the life sciences sector.
Afterwards, we would like to initiate a discussion and exchange our own experiences and good practices.
