Every year, the Project Management Institute (PMI) recognizes outstanding projects, project managers and organizations that drive the world forward with innovative solutions and excellent project management. The prestigious PMI Professional Awards 2025 offer the opportunity to give international visibility to exceptional achievements in the field of project management.

The third round of the established mentoring program from the PMI Germany Chapter has been successfully completed. After intensive months of learning and networking, the program looks back on another successful year. The round for 2025 is already in the starting blocks, ready to accompany new mentors and mentees on their journey.

The European PMOGA (PMO Global Alliance) Community in PMI is starting to form and will host its first Europe-wide PMO Power Hour on February 20, 2025 at 17:00 CET.

PMI's international flagship event in Europe, the PMI Global Summit Series, will be held in Barcelona on April 07/08, 2025.

In the coming weeks, PMI Germany Chapter (PMIGC) will be conducting a survey: “What do you need to move from the second row to the frontline?”

Agile Alliance and PMI have signed an agreement under which Agile Alliance will become PMI as “PMI Agile Alliance”.

PMI's Thought Leadership Reports 2024 once again offer practical, forward-looking insights and perspectives. They address the challenges we, the project management community, face in an ever-changing world.

The PMXPO 2025 will take place on March 19 and 20, 2025.

The virtual PMXPO format is fantastic and has already won several awards. The events held in recent years have been a great success and have had an ever-increasing number of participants. Thousands of project professionals from all over the world come together virtually to exchange information and learn about the latest trends in project management.

With the course “Practical Application of Generative AI for Project Managers”, PMI has created an innovative training program that specifically opens up the possibilities of GenAI for project managers. The course offers practical examples of the use of GenAI to support day-to-day project management work.
