Project managers who aspire to be more than just “administrators” of scope, time and budget must think strategically and entrepreneurially and understand what value their projects add to their organization. The Pulse of the Profession® 2025 published by PMI proves this very impressively.

At the opening of the PMI Global Summit Series Europe on April 7, 2025 in Barcelona, PMI CEO Pierre Le Manh announced that PMI and GPM have agreed to form a strategic joint venture to promote and embed sustainability in project management.

As every spring, a number of board positions and the office of cash auditor were up for election in 2025.

The election results have been announced. This year, four board positions and one of two auditors were up for election. A total of 299 valid votes were cast.

PMI has published “AI in Infrastructure and Construction Projects”, a new GenAI e-learning.
