The Practice Guide Risk Management in Portfolios, Programmes, and Projects presents practical knowledge and examples with a focus on the "what" and "how" of risk management.

The Practice Guide describes the fundamentals of risk management, defines the risk management lifecycle and applies the principles of risk management to the respective performance areas of portfolio, program, and project management within an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach. It identifies and reinforces the core principles of risk management and provides information for practitioners applying risk management techniques, tools, processes and best practices in the execution of a portfolio, program or project management plan.
